Here we are at our first camp at Anasazi Camp. Dan is showing the scouts how to put up the tarp. Camps are either "Trail Camps" or "Staffed Camps". At "Trail Camps" we are pretty much on our own. While there are water supplies (usually supplied by solar powered wells), the water must be either filtered or chemically treated. Water at staffed camps is usually treated and ready to use. Also staffed camps have programs available for the scouts and the staff put on shows or campfires in the evenings.
